Elle doit son nom au plateau de l\u2019Aubrac, vaste r\u00e9gion d\u2019altitude entre le Cantal, l\u2019Aveyron et la Loz\u00e8re.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb1ddc0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb1ddc0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3 data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"515\">\ud83d\udd70\ufe0f Des origines anciennes<\/h3><ul data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"910\"><li data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"681\"><p data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"681\"><strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"532\">Moyen \u00c2ge<\/strong> : La race est \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans les monast\u00e8res, notamment par les moines de la domerie d\u2019Aubrac, qui l\u2019utilisent pour le lait, la viande et la traction.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"910\"><p data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"910\"><strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"705\">XVIIe\u2013XIXe si\u00e8cle<\/strong> : L\u2019Aubrac devient une race essentielle dans les fermes du sud du Massif central, reconnue pour sa rusticit\u00e9, sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler les terres dures et \u00e0 produire dans des conditions climatiques rudes.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"950\">\ud83d\udcc9 D\u00e9clin et menace de disparition<\/h3><ul data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1317\"><li data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1122\"><p data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1122\"><strong data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"967\">1950\u20131970<\/strong> : Apr\u00e8s la Seconde Guerre mondiale, l\u2019agriculture se modernise rapidement. On privil\u00e9gie des races plus productives comme la Charolaise ou la Limousine.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1227\"><p data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1227\">L\u2019Aubrac, consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme &#8220;trop rustique&#8221; ou peu rentable, voit ses effectifs <strong data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1224\">chuter fortement<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1228\" data-end=\"1317\"><p data-start=\"1230\" data-end=\"1317\">Le <strong data-start=\"1233\" data-end=\"1283\">nombre de vaches Aubrac diminue dangereusement<\/strong>, mena\u00e7ant la race de disparition.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"1319\" data-end=\"1347\">\ud83d\udcaa R\u00e9sistance et relance<\/h3><ul data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1773\"><li data-start=\"1349\" data-end=\"1470\"><p data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1470\"><strong data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1359\">1951<\/strong>\u00a0: Cr\u00e9ation du <strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1403\">Syndicat Aubrac du Cantal<\/strong>, pour d\u00e9fendre les \u00e9leveurs et organiser la s\u00e9lection g\u00e9n\u00e9tique.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1471\" data-end=\"1592\"><p data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1592\"><strong data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1481\">1979<\/strong> : Cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019<strong data-start=\"1498\" data-end=\"1547\">Organisme de S\u00e9lection (OS) de la race Aubrac<\/strong>, qui lance des programmes de valorisation.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1593\" data-end=\"1773\"><p data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1773\"><strong data-start=\"1595\" data-end=\"1615\">Ann\u00e9es 1980\u20131990<\/strong> : D\u00e9but d\u2019un <strong data-start=\"1629\" data-end=\"1642\">renouveau<\/strong> : l\u2019Aubrac est red\u00e9couverte pour sa qualit\u00e9 de viande, son adaptation aux syst\u00e8mes extensifs, et son excellent potentiel maternel.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5a8fef4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5a8fef4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Une race d\u2019avenir<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22fb513 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"22fb513\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"293\" data-end=\"453\"><em>La race Aubrac, longtemps per\u00e7ue comme rustique et traditionnelle, est aujourd\u2019hui reconnue comme <strong data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"452\">l\u2019une des plus adapt\u00e9es aux enjeux de l\u2019\u00e9levage de demain<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"482\">\u2705 R\u00e9sistante et \u00e9conome<\/h3><p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"810\">L\u2019Aubrac est une vache <strong data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"518\">rustique<\/strong>, capable de vivre dehors une grande partie de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, m\u00eame en conditions difficiles. Elle s\u2019adapte tr\u00e8s bien aux <strong data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"655\">syst\u00e8mes extensifs<\/strong> et utilise efficacement les ressources naturelles (herbe, foin).
